Lefkada is a really beautiful, rather small island of West Greece, actually part of Ionian islands, below, Albania to South, and east of Italy. It was under domination of Venecians and Francs, (today French), at the beginning of 16th century A.C, for some decades, then it was liberated again, being part of Greece. It has actually blue-green sea water, and and worth to be visited, mainly in summer for holidays, but also in spring and autumn.
